Overview
XIVAN Vof is the data controller for the Site. Contact: legal@entropy-tao.com.
This policy explains how we process personal data when you use entropy-tao.com and tools.entropy-tao.com.
What We Process
- Account data: when you sign in with Google, we process your email, display name and avatar to create and maintain your account. Legal basis: contract necessity (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Tool inputs and results: content submitted to AI tools and generated results are processed to run the tools and, when you choose to save them, stored as saved results. Legal basis: contract necessity.
- Saved content you choose to make public: saved content is not listed in the public gallery by default. You may add it to the public gallery. Public content may be indexed by search engines after internal quality review.
- Technical and security data: IP address, request time, rate-limit and security logs are used to prevent abuse and control costs. Legal basis: legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- First-party usage events: tool runs, snapshot saves and page visits may be logged to improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
Processors
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, including hosting and compute, database and authentication, AI generation, email delivery, and future payment processing. The primary database is hosted in the EU / Frankfurt region.
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions or other applicable safeguards. You may contact the legal address for more information about current provider categories and safeguards.
Retention
- Account data is kept while your account exists.
- Security logs are kept for up to 12 months.
- Content you save is kept until you delete it.
- Account deletion requests are handled within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a copy of your data by contacting legal@entropy-tao.com.
You can delete your own saved content in the product. Account deletion is handled by email request. By default, public content is deleted or anonymized as part of account deletion; if you want specific public content to remain, say so in your request.
You may also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).
